Airtight and Waterproof Buildings

The system solutions for internal and external wall surfaces include films and coating systems for a range of requirements. In addition to films for wind- and driving rain-tight, vapour-permeable sealing in external applications, or films for internal use ranging from vapour-retardant to vapour-tight, the system solutions are complemented by sealing coatings for internal and external use, available in sprayable or brush-on formulations.

Airtight and Waterproof Module Envelopes

The module envelope is essential for protecting a building against air leakage, moisture ingress and weather exposure. In modular construction, envelope solutions must perform reliably at the interfaces between elements and modules, both internally and externally, while supporting efficient factory production and long-term building performance.

Tremco CPG provides a comprehensive range of high-performance membranes, waterproofing systems and sealing solutions designed specifically for modular construction. Our solutions support:

  • Airtight and vapour-controlled internal surfaces
  • Wind- and weather-tight external layers
  • Secure sealing of joints and transitions between walls, floors and roofs

For external applications, we offer vapour-permeable membranes and adhesive tapes that provide wind-tight, driving-rain-resistant protection while allowing moisture to escape from the building structure. For internal applications, our portfolio includes vapour-retardant and vapour-tight membranes, supported by compatible sealing and adhesive products to achieve effective airtightness.

Our range also includes flexible waterproofing coatings for both interior and exterior use, available in spray-applied and brush-applied systems to suit a variety of applications and construction processes.

These solutions represent only a selection of the options available. We work closely with customers to develop tailored envelope solutions that meet specific project requirements, manufacturing methods and performance objectives.
