Tremco CPG Announce Kalzip Acquisition
Tremco Construction Products Group (“Tremco CPG”) today announced that the acquisition of Kalzip GmbH (“Kalzip”) was finalised following completion of the standard regulatory review process. A global leader in the design and production of aluminium-based roofs and facades for building envelopes, Kalzip now is part of Tremco CPG.
Founded in 1968, Kalzip specialises in lightweight, weather-resistant and flexible roof systems, along with aesthetically advanced and highly functional façade technologies. Key projects include the Estadio Santiago in Madrid, the Skyway Mont Blanc in Italy and the Pickering Go Pedestrian Bridge in Canada. By combining Kalzip’s innovative aluminium solutions with the broader portfolio of Tremco CPG – which includes roofing systems, joint sealing, bonding and insulation, passive fire protection, floor coatings and concrete protection and repair – the partnership supports Tremco CPG’s strategy of delivering a seamless, fully integrated approach to modern construction.
This comprehensive offering enhances efficiency, durability, and aesthetic performance across both new-build and refurbishment projects, enabling clients to benefit from coordinated systems designed to work together throughout the entire building lifecycle. As an integral part of Tremco CPG’s holistic offering, their high-quality, customisable solutions will continue to be sold under the Kalzip brand name in Europe and most major markets around the world, thanks to their strong global market position. In North America, the Kalzip line will be integrated into Tremco’s well-established brands.
